How about rebranding "universal basic income" as "minimal viable income" and seeing how the billionaires respond?

people need to stop writing, and writing about, books so that I can catch up.

The second anniversary of this post is coming up, and surprise surprise these little "end of life" laptops are continuing to run well with #linux and do what we need them to, which includes spending less on tech so we can buy more actual books for the school library. #schooltech #endof10 #edtech #foss #reading #kidlit

Why do citation management systems like zotero display the user's list of citations like a database table with columns and not like a list of citations?

Displaying a list of citations would allow for narrower displays that still show all the information, rather than cutting off entries, or forcing users to choose which columns to display. And the system could provide a set of options for the level of detail in the citation from brief (say just author, title, date) to full.

@LibraryLoon regarding your most recent blog post, one think I regularly say ( while working at a school that issues JDs, and blaming American cultural imperialism for effectively eliminating the Canadian LLB) is that MDs and PhDs might argue about the word "Doctor" a lot, but JDs aren't fooling anybody.
