Uns wurde der Fund eines weiß lackierten Fahrrades in der Oststadt gemeldet mit dem Verdacht, dass es sich um eines der in Karlsruhe aufgestellten "Ghostbikes" handelt.
Leider konnten das CM-Team und der ADFC das Rad bisher keinem der aufgestellten Ghostbikes zuordnen.
Vielleicht handelt es sich um eines von Angehörigen aufgestellten Mahnmals oder auch nur um ein Dekoobjekt.
Kennt jemand das Rad oder weiß, wo es hingehört?

Momentan gibt es einen Ikea Ausziehtisch, einen Schaukelstuhl, eine Ikea Recamiere/Schlafsofa.

Thanks to @jessamyn 's excellent posts, I have seen several people express interest in starting a library tech drop in at their local library, which is a fantastic idea. Libraries are all about people helping people! I wanted to share a thread with a few tips for people looking to start a meetup/help group at their library.

First, check to make sure a thing like that doesn't already exist - and if it does, don't think "they have it covered" - go help! Programs like this always need more people. If they do have one already, think about how you might help get the word out, it's so hard to get the message out about these things to people who need them. (1/4)

Drop-In Time is a time where I hang out in a room at the library with a big table and a lot of chairs and help people with their technology problems for two and a half hours. These are their stories. It was cold today so I was warming up some water for tea and by the time I got upstairs at three past the hour there were four people waiting for me. Whoops!

Regular reminder to join a union. Especially if you're in tech and you think you don't really need to.

Es ist den Plattformen seit langem bekannt, dass wir ein zunehmendes Problem mit KI-generierten For-Profit Content haben, der Antisemitismus, Sexismus & Rassismus verbreitet. Es gibt bei Meta keine effektive Kontrolle.

Manchmal glaubt man dann doch wieder ans Gute. Wenn man zum Beispiel zur Gründungsversammlung eines Repair Cafés geht und fürchtet, dort fast alleine zu sitzen. Und dann bekommt man keinen Stuhl mehr, weil sich ca. 30 Leute in diesen kleinen Raum quetschen. Gelebte Jahrzehnte voller geballten Fach- und Sachwissens, der Älteste 88 Jahre alt. Und alle hochmotiviert. Der Wahnsinn!
