So Anthropic's revenue for the first half of 2026 was $16 billion.
And their total losses in just six months were over $80 billion - double what they lost in the whole of 2025.
For reference, Tesla lost 9.3 billion from 2007-2018 while they were building factories and making EVs functional and affordable. Similarly, Amazon lost around $2 billion from 1997-2003 while building up the infrastructure to become the dominant online retailer and running at a loss to put competitors out of business.
The amount of money #AI companies are losing is staggering, unprecedented, and is likely to end in a massive crash.
