It's done! Project Tasman's crowdfunding ended with $3,536 raise out of a $1,500 goal. I'm so happy and humbled. I cried on stream a little bit.
Thank you all. Whether you pledged, whether you shared, whether you just talked to me. Thank you.
For tonight I'm going to bed. More to come soon.
24. Hours. Left.
Time is running out to get my sapphic dystopian thriller, Project Tasman, and get all the cool crowdfunding bonuses along with it. If you've been waiting, stop that! Now is the time!
The final 72 hours to back Project Tasman are upon us!
Do you want to read a story about a woman who ends up in a government experiment and has to choose who in it lives and dies? Do you dream of sapphic engagements turning into sapphic polycules? Do you regularly debate ethics with your cat? Have you ever gone grocery shopping in a squirrel suit so you can make a quarter-million waffles?
This is the book for you!

Good morning. There is one week left in Project Tasman's crowdfunding campaign. We're about $875 from our next stretch goal (alternate cover version) and are currently on a streak of 9 straight days with a pledge. Please consider backing my sapphic dystopian novel! #bookstadon #books #writingcommunity #lgbtqia
So a few updates
My sapphic dystopian thriller, Project Tasman, is still in crowdfunding. The book has not only hit its main funding goal, but also hit its first stretch goal! We're about $1200 away from stretch goal 2, and only $200 away from the cover reveal for Project Tasman's companion short story that everyone has unlocked.
Official book release date is November 11th and I'm seeing what I can do to put together an in-person book release tour for it. That said, you can still back through September 4th to get the book at a cheaper cost, plus bonuses like stickers, art prints, and bookmarks.

Going to attend my first Pride since being out next weekend.
Did it take almost five years since coming out to anyone, three since coming out to family and most friends, and two since coming out publicly to get to this point? Yes
Am I attending one in another state since random internet friends are more accepting than many of my IRL contacts? Also yes

I really need to be more consistent about posting over here. Whenever my mental health craters, this is one of the first places to go. And my inconsistency over the first quarter of this year is a sure sign of that.
Next month, the only book that I never republished from the deadname would turn 10. I pulled it off the shelves in 2024 and currently have no plans to re-release it. But still. Neat milestone.
Alright. Smart people over here. I need your assistance.
I adore this dress. I've used it as reference for OC creation a couple of times now. I found this dress IRL last month. Ordered. Even in XL, it was basically a shirt on me because I'm 5'10". And I admittedly don't want to order from Amazon if I don't have to.
So. May I have recommendations of where to get this style of dress?
I see Amazon is up to some tomfuckery.

Time for another day at the chronically online benevolent menace factory
Look sometimes you just need to write a character into a story that is a conduit for a cathartic experience.
My novella of trans self-discovery is now up for pre-order! You can get Guitar Concerto in C Flat Minor, Op. 12: Lucina (short name Opus) for preorder now. Release date December 12,2025. Ebook $3. Paperback $8.

This story has been literal years in the making. While it's not a personal retelling of what I went through in my self-discovery, it is written in part through the many emotions and feelings I experienced while I was trying to understand who I was.
This book is, of everything I've written, the book I've been the most scared to publish for so, so many reasons. Even now I'm still full of anxiety about it. But I hope you all will like it.
If there is a goal I have with this book, it's that I'd like to beat my preorder record I set with Kotov Syndrome, which was 64 copies (13 on Amazon, 51 from Ingram Spark). I know full well this is very unlikely since it's a novella and since it's a trans identity book, but I want to try.
Today is the final day of my 40% off sale on my Ko-Fi. Get stickers, sapphic books, bookmarks, and pins for 40% off and help support your local trans author while doing so!
