Fernando Sánchez Castillo challenges the gender roles by beautifully recreating Rodin's The Thinker with a feminine form

Intentionally exhibited as just another piece in a studio, rather than in centre place

An endearing finnish thing:

When someone is struggling, we don't wish them "thoughts and prayers" (tho some religious finns will happily pray for you), but we wish them "powers" (voimia).

And I like to imagine them as the powers of the forest, the wind, the deepest lakes, and forgotten secrets hued into the rock by our ancient kin. The spirits reach to give you their strenght, the veil is thin, the old songs lend you aid.

We wish you powers on these tough times.

"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

Apparently it's #PortfolioDay so here's some mini watercolor kitties since I haven't been able to do anything more complex these last few months. These are all 5*5cm squares

ME: Do you think we all secretly worship the sleep god Somnambulax and that our beds are the altars upon which we pray to him?
