From the 1970s on:
The US far right built a "stealth" network of think tanks, foundations, so-called "grassroots" (astroturf) movements, academic programs, advocacy & legal groups to reshape public opinion.

Life without dopamine
I was already down from "anyone who operates a car park"
Labour in the UK and the democrats in the US are not going to be on the side of the worked and never going to give up transphobia, because ITS THE MONEY!
They take money from big $£$£ donors, and so they service the needs of the rich.
The rich want to own what you have, your house, your savings, everything and they want to distract you with immigration and trans people while they rob you.
This will not stop until the populus is radically left wing enough.
Really sad to see people I respected take a big dump on PHP today. It was unnecessary. This is open source. Things run on too few donations and mostly unpaid work.
These people work hard. They deal with entitled users in bug trackers. They sift through slop reports and slop contributions. They have to defend their infra from thieves who can afford to lose more money in an hour than they will not make in a lifetime. They have to drop everything when their unpaid project has an emergency.

This is very important. Sadly it will garner little attention, but the BMA - the UK’s largest trade union and professional association for doctors, has spoken against it strongly.

Good for them. Bridget Phillipson is a horrible person, overseeing a complete monstering of trans kids, as Women and Equalities Minister.
RT: @TaxJusticeUK 🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Chancellor Healey rules out CGT rise.
That's bad news for a former Mayor of Manchester who famously once said “we have overtaxed labour and undertaxed wealth."

140 days of protests triggered by a corrupt kushner/trump family luxury island deal… yet 🇺🇸 media is essentially crickets 🦗 🦗
The UK has rejected trans people from hospital ward leading to trans death.
It has removed treatment from youth resultiong in trans death.
It has strangled adult provision so that the wait for your first appointment is counted in decades, causing trans death.
It has overseen a massive rise in hate, leading to trans death.
It has reported parents to social services for supporting kids social transition & dangerously withdrawn care from trans adults.
The UK is democidally anti-trans.
We need to redistribute wealth away from billionaire corporations and put it back into the hands of our communities.
Periodical reminder that TERFs are feminist in the same way that Nazis are socialist.
The House of Lords is nothing more than a retirement home for failed politicians and rich donors.
Scotland deserves better. It's time to abolish the House of Lords.

Normalise this sort of thing
This is a pathetic failure of the EU and Canada to recognise that this US government is not on our side.

Please tell Sadiq Khan not to fuel transphobia by allowing JK Rowling Xmas lights in London. What a killer of seasonal joy that would be! https://action.goodlawproject.org/sadiq-khan-pull-the-plug-on-transphobia
Scientist Identifies How Societies Escape Social Crisis
“Past societies escaped periods of crisis by reversing the root cause: the ‘wealth pump’ that takes from ordinary people and gives to elites.
When wages stagnate while the gains from economic growth flow disproportionately to the top, the result is popular discontent, conflict among elites, & weakening state.
Exiting the crisis requires shutting down the wealth pump”
Thry really are doing their best to make this a story.

Such dishonest framing. A Labour politician is using the council to suggest thrley will block the greens from meeting in a council owned event centre
I wonder about the legality of blocking such a reservation... That the government can block another party from meeting because they don't like their policies.
Our government finds new ways for authoritarian overreach every week.
