“A developed country is not a place where the poor have cars. It’s where the rich use public transportation.”

Whoever keeps putting these up on London Underground trains, needs to stop…putting only 1 per carriage.

#ReformUK = cruelty personified.

"A café owner who served up free meals to hungry children after food vouchers were removed has been told he will be reported to police by a Reform council leader.

Barry Ashley, who runs the Grumpy Cook in Hastings, stepped up after East Sussex County Council decided not to issue school holiday meal vouchers to struggling families over the summer. He has criticised the move, which he branded “shameless”, accusing the council of turning its back of children in poverty."

"But we didn't knowwwwwww...."
Yes we did.

In 1959, Volvo invented the three point seat belt and released the patent to it for free, realising it would save millions of lives.

In 2020 (Covid), James Dyson asked for a tax cut before he would even try to build a ventilator to save a life, then moved his business abroad to avoid tax. He didn't deliver a single ventilator.

Don’t buy a Dyson.

"Back to work today, forgot my pass so locked bike outside Cannon Street station. Left work at 6pm to find just the cut lock and no bike, resigned to never seeing my trusty stead again asked the station if they have cameras. A guy appeared waving at me, asked me to put the code into my cut lock. He replied ‘I have your bike’ with a smile I will never forget!! His name is Abdul Muneeb and he works for South Eastern Railways, he was on a break and saw a guy bolt cut the lock and challenged him to give it back, he then took it inside and waited 4 hours after his shift finished to personally make sure I got my bike back. The world needs more Abdul’s, he is a legend of a man and a credit to his employer."

Like sanctioning a UN Special Rapporteur for highlighting a genocide.

If you read the Daily Mail, you are by definition, misinformed.

A scene of modern Britain

"A cyclist is a disaster for the country's economy: he does not buy cars and does not borrow money to buy. He does not pay for insurance policies. He does not buy fuel, does not pay for the necessary maintenance and repairs. He does not use paid parking. He does not cause serious accidents. He does not require multi-lane highways. He does not get fat.
Healthy people are neither needed nor useful for the economy. They don't buy medicine. They do not go to hospitals or doctors. Nothing is added to the country's GDP (gross domestic product).
On the contrary, every new McDonald's restaurant creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 dietary experts and nutritionists, and obviously, people who work at the restaurant itself."
Choose carefully: cyclist or McDonald's? It is worth considering.
P.S. Walking is even worse. Pedestrians don't even buy bicycles.
P.P.S. If you have read this far and still don't get it, this post is SATIRE. Reread it with this in mind.
