I was woken out of a dead sleep by the sound of a bull elk bugling outside in my yard. It's still dark out and all I could see were shapes, but but I could hear them breathing and walking through the native grass and weeds in my yard. There were two of them and one could not have been more than 50 feet from my house. I managed to capture a terrible image of the pair with my spotlight on them before they moved on. Massive creatures with gigantic racks. Uncropped and cropped image. (1/2)
