No matter the outcome of tomorrow's elections, Wednesday will likely be "the election was rigged by hackers!" day for many disgruntled supporters of losing candidates.
Remember, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Think before you boost, especially when the message tells you what you want to hear.

I'm calling it now- Peltola will likely be the next Fetterwoman in the Senate, if elected.
She was a stalwart of the Blue Dog Caucus for her brief stint in the House. While many a shitlib will insist you bend the knee and support this candidate who will very likely champion more endless wars, deny climate change, and strike left at every opportunity, that is what is at stake. So I guess don't lose any sleep over it. If she wins, hopefully her vote won't be needed for anything important.
Just remember that as Dems distance themselves from Stevens, that's who the Dem leadership wanted to get the Dem nomination.

So, we're actually talking about The End of The World now.
Right.

If Abdul wins, there's no longer any role for Haley Stevens in the Democratic party.
If Abdul loses, she'll be blamed & there'll no longer be any role for her in the party.

I went back to Kubota Garden yesterday to photograph the twisted Japanese maple, this time from underneath, looking straight up into the canopy.
The bark was still wet from the rain, dark and smooth against the orange leaves. When I showed my wife this one, she said it looked like a sculpture.
I think she is right. It looks less grown than carved.
Do you see a sculpture in it, or something else?
I keep finding new shapes every time I look at it.

I'm going to play with #NewSkillNovember by learning #crossstitch.
When I was in my teens and 20s, I did a lot of needlepoint and I might pick that up again by getting myself a kit in December for the holidays. But for now I'm trying something new.
This is the way. We should be doing this to our versions of CNews, Fox News, OANN, and the rest. Just refuse to start the less conference until they voluntarily leave. Fuck these far right extremist propaganda outlets that peddle hate and call it journalism.

This isn’t a black and white photo, this is how it looks right now behind our house, thick af fog. I love it. Let’s call it “No Goal”.

Go fuck yourselves, sloppers.
Happy Samhain to all who celebrate.
May the turning of the year bring the rest and protection of the dark.
May revolution & rebellion grow & strengthen under its cover.
May balance be restored.
May the dreams the darkness gives us coalesce into fertile, fierce reality.

Going super green for #mosstadon and #silentsunday. Happens it's four years or thereabouts since my partner and I got together, which started with both of us taking the other on our favourite walks around central Scotland.
