It was a good, mobile phone battery day.

We have experienced a wind event. From 0 MPH, it increased to 0.2 MPH, with a gust reaching 1.1 MPH. Or, as we call it here, Ed walked past the sensor.

There are two bubbles exposed here: Tech & Ego. In the blink of an eye both can implode, eroding consumer confidence and shaking up top leadership.
Rid the Ego to save the Tech (and those who have worked hard to create it).

Internal company communications are only as secure as your most disgruntled employee(s).
I'm amazed how CEOs and other top execs of 'privacy focused' corporations forget this while sharing toxic directives that they perceive will be kept non-public and confidential.

Saw this little beauty warming its wings in the sun this morning. According to my butterfly book, it appears to be a Common Buckeye.

❗️The Washington Sun reports that Trump administration officials are privately urging US companies to accept Russian diesel cargoes crossing the Atlantic. At least three vessels reportedly sailed for the US after Trump moved to lift sanctions on Russian diesel on October 16. Industry sources say buyers are resisting over legal and reputational risks, despite pressure and substantial discounts being offered by both Moscow and Washington. #Russia

#PhotoOfTheDay Is a view from the steps down into an oceanside resort on the big island of Hawaii. I was so transfixed by getting a good photo that I tripped on the way down the steps and badly skinned a knee. But I bravely soldiered on and got this photo, despite having been gravely wounded. 😅

Oh, and there were a couple of agreeable dolphins in this lagoon.

Anyone in Fort Collins CO in need of a cute house? Was owned by my late uncle (and I spent a week this summer cleaning it out). Proceeds are going to the sierra club!
