SCOTUS rebalanced court is crucial for Mafialago executive lawlessness

Overturning Executive Actions: Lower federal courts frequently rule against Trump regime policies—on issues like federal spending to unlawfull immigration enforcement—the illegitimate SCOTUS repeatedly uses its emergency shadow docket to overturn lower-court rulings and allow Trumpstein policies to stand. Expanding the court with independent justices would create a majority more likely to uphold lower court restrictions.

"Just removing Trump is not enough" is a great line.

Removing Trump is an EXCELLENT first step.

and without that first step we just continue to spiral down into fascist dictatorship.

"Just removing the dead rats and piles of pigeon shit won't make this a nice place to live"

Yep. It's not enough, but it is ESSENTIAL. It must be done.

Ignore the Constitution.

Accept fascist rule.

Sure. Why not?

Peeps who accuse you of claiming "only Democrats have agency" or demand that you only ever blame Republicans, are in fact denying that Democrats can make choices, and have made many choices which benefit the fascist regime.

Some dictatorships last hundreds of years.

They have a duty to relentlessly repeat the process until the rule of law, checks and balances, our constitutional rights, and our democracy are restored.

It could be *far longer* than 2 years.

Fascist dictators don't just walk away.

#ImpeachConvictRemove

We started on offense 20 months ago.

and the fascists are purging the military, the spy agencies, and the civil service as we speak.

Any delay makes things worse for us.

No more stalling.

#ImpeachConvictRemove NOW.

Hey look!

More "Wait for 2028" content.

#ImpeachConvictRemove

There is nothing dramatic here at all.

This is a bunch of windbag politicians (incl.@jayapal.house.gov @raskin.house.gov@bsky.brid.gy) talking tough about things they know will not work.

They tried subpoenas in 2019. They were ignored. It went nowhere. They sued and Trump won.

#ImpeachConvictRemove

Even if they do appear, they can and will plead the 5th.

These hearings will be huge nothing-burgers.

and new laws to make Donald stop doing illegal things?

Absurd.

The problem is he breaks the law. Making new laws for him to break is stupid AF.

#ImpeachConvictRemove

Orange man breaks the law to misappropriate funds every day. He's not going to stop because Jamie Raskin acts like a tough guy on TV 😀

This grandstanding is so cringe. and they're gonna look like idiots when it fails miserably.

Impeachment isn't an a partisan option it's Congressional duty according to the Constitution

Today we heard that @kamalaharris.com@bsky.brid.gy is also on the ABOLISH ACCOUNTABILITY bandwagon, and is now in favor of keeping the orange freak above the law.

#ImpeachConvictRemove

Have you ever followed one of those hearing where the witness says "I don't recall." "I don't know. Maybe." "I have no memory of that." etc for hours?

Hopium is making people think that investigations and hearings are some kind of brutal punishment, but they are SO NOT.

The threat is real. Malicious actors are working on a dystopian future for us. American freedom and democracy really depends on how courageous or lazy/cowardly our representatives in Congress are over the next few months.
