Okay, Western Digital, stick your virtual WD Smartware CD partition up your dick hole. Completely nuking the drive now.

My day has consisted of federal government paperwork, getting punched in the mouth and now I'm releting partitions on a freshly acquired hard drive. Welcome to life as a nerd.

Have you never spoken to someone with depression and nialism? Half my time is spent wondering why the fuck I'm doing anything, half of that is further spent wondering why we're even here.

Done diddley did the broke early 20s thing, I done did. Booked a trip to the store to stock up on as many raman noodles as I can possibly afford to get me through the next week, maybe a couple extra pizzas if I'm lucky.

Logging off for the night, gonna feed the dog and go to bed. Gonna be a busy week ahead.

Okay, maybe it's the senior citizen in me, but butterscotch is the best flavor of candy.

Notice: the KNAMedia AzuraCast instance will be going down at 10:00 PM EDT for a software update. Services will be unavailable during this time.

If you're wondering how the voice sounds on the Icom IC7300, this is a direct recording. Sadly, all it can read out is the S-meter and the frequency, everyhting else is up to you. I'll have to get the PC software once I can get an antenna for this beast, but it can do 100 watts output.

This is how "Easier to Run" by Linkin Park sounds on the LP60. Worth noting, the master on this single-disk reissue of Meteora is quite poor, and this track is the second to last on the side, so inner groove distortion also plays a factor here.

I also got a SOHO printer from this same friend, but it's likely encoured damage. I also got an Icom IC7300 from another friend today, paying in a couple weeks but got an amazing deal. Got the unit, a power supply, the mic, I'll be getting an antenna once he gets it out of his attic. First HF gear. I'm only technition license so I can't do too much on HF yet but I'm gonna go for general at some point.

Turntable for dorm room acquired, got an AudioTechnica AT-LP60 from a friend for $50, still in the box. It's not the X model, it's the original with the AC power supply and the perminant cables, but it sounds pretty good. It is running a touch fast but I can adjust that once I print a strobe disc. I have an LP120X at home, but this will make a great secondary deck.

Honestly this is the most accurate thing I've ever read!

Counterpoint: The Eshier demo version of "Revolution" by The Beatles is better than the final version "Revolution 1" by leaps and bounds.

But what if you either have nothing ot say or the person you're with is a dumbass?

This is seven seconds of your life you'll never get back

Spent my whole evening in the studio getting our forecasts working in SPL while I also had a meeting and digestive issues. La de da!

Fun Winamp/JAWS glitch, if you hit JAWS+Shift+T for track info while playing ALAC audio, it lists the bitrate wrong.

Bit rate: 1411200 kilobits per second

That would be a wild fucking bitrate!

But the first day you end up cutting it really close you'll be wishing you had the buffer. I'd take 100 days of waiting compared to missing a flight because I got stuck in traffic or got stopped by TSA>

Was looking through downloaded tracks from our modern music acquisition software, in amongst the typical top 40 melarky was this gem of a smooth jazz/fusion track, really giving me Four80East / Trammell Starks vibes, this would so fit in on The Weather Channel circa 2007. Also it sounds great through the KNA processing. This song was released about a month ago and is def getting added to KNA in the next song update.
