I'm starting to think that the "AI could destroy humanity" is actually an advertisement rather than a warning. Because who can afford to put significant money into AI? Asshole billionaires. Who could possibly be interested in something that can wipe out humanity? Asshole billionaires.
I never liked "TL;DR". It just sounds lazy and bratty to say "too long; didn't read". I think we should switch to "long story short". It already exists, basically means the same thing, has fewer syllables and a shorter abbreviation "LSS".
Ok... Pretty strong indication of money laundering related to Trump... What more do we need to get impeachment going??

@skyglobe @evacide @Em0nM4stodon One must assume the feature has been reclassified as a national security capability exclusively available as an intelligence enhancement for government security contractors.
"We need to capture all of your info so we can make a better user experience. We need to know what features you're using, which ones you like, etc..."
Ok... How about a good old fashioned survey or questionnaire?
Artificial Intelligence only creates Natural Idiocy.
Go ahead and looksmaxx all you want. But the fact still remains that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, and you won't be getting laid until that's fixed.
With Iran war stuff going on I feel like we're losing the focus on ICE. What's the word on them? Are they still shooting civilians in the face?
Even if a super-human intelligence were created, you would not be able to discern it's intentions. Like a child wondering what adults are talking about and them explaining it to you, you wouldn't know if it's sincerity or condescension.
"Virtual Reality" is an oxymoron.
Hey, remember "waste, fraud and abuse"? Sure glad that turned out to totally be a thing.
I enjoy doing stuff online, but not EVERYTHING. Doing stuff online should be one option among several, not the only one.
Greed attacks need.
That's why they come after the farmers, and the teachers. That's why our healthcare system is a mess of middlemen. Now tech seems to be the new target, but, most of it is far from necessary, it's just convenient. You can drop it still get on with your life just fine.
Money does not make the world go 'round. The world goes 'round on its own. It has been since well before currency was ever invented, but unfortunately, we've let it become the thing that makes it go 'round.
How about that... an AI CEO says we just have to lay down an accept it. And also doesn't talk about the environmental impacts of AI data centers.
About the phrase "data is the new oil"... I get it... It's the next big thing that everyone wants to cash-in on, but it's worse than that. Data is your shopping habits. Data is your political leanings. Data is your sexual preferences.
So... Even AI companies say you can't trust its output. So you have to research it on your own to verify it... So you have to do the very thing it's supposed to save you from doing.
AI doesn't do anything nearly worth the amount of climate change it causes.
"Move fast and break things." I never liked that phrase. You don't sound like an innovator, you just sound like a brat.
We've lost some momentum. We need to go back to hating on Tesla.
"Trading Places" - great movie. It's about rich, callous people using their wealth to mess with people's lives... Interesting...
