Don't miss out on this terrific recording/video from the YouTube page of @mikebabyak ...

From Mike:
"I found a score that seemed pretty close to the original and came up with our own arrangement. Apart from the accordion, all the other melody instruments are various plucked string instruments. The piano part is played on acoustic guitar, the harpsichord on mandolin, the string section on lap steel guitar. Kudos to everyone involved."

Rules:
• Grab the nearest book.
• Turn to page 42.
• Find the 2nd sentence.
• Post the sentence in a toot with the hashtags.
• Copy these rules and post as a comment to your toot, avoiding re-tagging the rules post.
• Don’t look for your favourite, coolest or wittiest book. Go for the nearest.

😞 Yes, I'm disappointed...

Should I be angry that my pinned posts are bundled together?

I wanted them to be seen. That’s why I pinned them.

Can this be fixed or changed back?

Do I need to daily re-boost instead of pinning?

That just makes EVERYONE see it EVERY DAY in their feed.

THAT SUCKS.

(more people will hate me)

Mark #Volman, passes at 78 😞

It's karaoke... Just burning off whatever energy is left at the end of a long day on the farm. It's NOT about singing 🤪
I sure have fun!

Who cares anyway?
At least once a week, I find a ¿dignified? way to get a bit loose...

00:35:35 Hot Fun in the Summertime - Sly and the Family Stone

01:20:57 Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is - Chicago

02:10:10 Evil - Interpol

02:49:18 Ask - The Smiths

03:01:00 Rock and Roll All Nite ( and PART of Every Day) - Kiss

03:21:02 You Might Think - The Cars

Four things...

1. I moved my Top Songs/Artists of MY ENTIRE LIFE list to the top upon the news about Brian 😞... along with Sly Stone and other personal losses... long week.

2, "When everything's dark
And nothing seems right
There's nothing to win
And there's no need to fight"

3. 🙂 For a smile, here is my fave version of "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha"...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD4VQ3xH66I

4. "Hey, I've got nothing to do today but smile
De-doh-n-doh-de-doh
And here I am

(Here I am)"

The voices I heard were from...

Partners in love and songwriting, @jgerhardtmusic (she/her) and @arendleejessurun (they/them) are the indie folk duo, Tupesto. They craft songs honoring the dead, confronting injustice, and turning the prism of love

That song was "Into the Light"

Made my day 🌞

I was working on the farm this morning and heard familiar voices in one of the songs ringing from the main greenhouse.

I always share my music finds with everyone I know. It is the easiest way for others to know and understand who you are.

I was surprised to hear something I shared with a co-worker to be in their playlist… and being played!

Anyway, it is a beautiful song. The lyrics, voices, instruments and production are just beautiful.

It was a wonderful start to rough day on the farm.

Two things:

I'm in a local "Idol" competition (NOT the American one).

1. For my audition, this song was created and recording because there was NO band for the episode.
https://on.soundcloud.com/htspSEQiKrHRTj3q9
I dropped out the lead vocal and was good to go.

2. Most contestants used karaoke from YouTube.
Here is my audition from the first "Idol" show. It was a lot of fun. This is my first time out front... NOT playing an instrument...
