I stare into the void*

Fedi can be so hateful sometimes. It saddens me.

Be nicer to ppl. Even if you disagree with them. Or just shut up.

Queer, masc-presenting "catalanet" looking for FWB or something serious. If you're already in Fedi, chances are we are a great match :)

I love music, biking, and cooking. My nerdy side holds a great interest of photography, programming, 3D printing, and linguistics.

I live near UAB, and study there - we can meet there sometime!

Design notes:

* Lexing with logos, users who want to extend it will either have to use a sublexer or I can do magic with proc macros to merge the lexers at comptime.

* I hope to have a similar extendability & level of exposed internals as burntsushi's excellent regex crate, but with a more efficient AST/HIR data representation.

* The algorithm will probably have to be exactly like MinRX, for my specific use-cases: https://github.com/mikehaertel/minrx/blob/main/ALGORITHM.txt

Anyone who wants a Rust regex engine with full POSIX ERE support, good extendability for custom operators, and both Unicode and byte-level matching?

I will be writing one in the near-y future to cover for MinRX's features & more in uutils awk, so if there's a feature you've always wanted in a Rust regex engine, let me know!

El perro del hortelano.

The rambler feature looks sick too, but I'm definitely gonna miss the thermometer; there were dozens of us who used it! Dammit Google, you had *one* job!

The 12GB of RAM shouldn't be noticeable... I am a rather lightweight phone user; I just want a minimal, pro-user ROM and good camera for RAW photography. Would've bought a Chinese phone (Vivo, Oppo, etc.) in a heartbeat if it weren't for their general anti-consumer bullshit.

Well, turns out I'm getting a free upgrade to a Pixel 11 Pro (from my 10 Pro) due to warranty shenanigans + me soft scamming my retailer, and I couldn't be happier. Google has done the *two* things I wanted in this upgrade: yeet the exynos modem and upgrade the telephoto.

Yes I'm aware the order of the Win and alt keys is wrong. It's more comfortable to press the angled Win key with the thumb, given how it's manufactured. The keys are in Colemak; because it's a flat profile, you can freely reorder them.

The Keychron K11 Max is one of the best, most comfortable keyboards ever manufactured. Change my mind.

crap I actively like the scrolling so much I am doomscrolling just for the physical feeling LOL

I tin we can.

I'm enjoying my new Surface Arc Mouse way too much. The one-finger kinetic scrolling is super super fun, and it makes for an amazing travel mouse.

It's surprisingly comfortable for a non-vertical mouse, MS got the ergonomics spot on. The touchpad is quite usable, although it could use a lot more functions, it's making me jealous of the Magic Mouse lmao.

People think cloning is Rust on easy mode, but arenas are the name of the game. Never had such an easy time with lifetime-annotated types.

Just published uutils AWK! A Rust reimplementation of gawk living under the uutils banner, focusing on safety, localization and performance. Keep in mind this is a work in progress!

If mastodon security wants *me*, first they'll have to define the activitypub extension for police and wait 5 years to have it rolled out. The joke is on them.
