I've read and watched a lot of material intended to get people into Science. Cosmos. Powers of Ten. The Science of Discworld. Gods, Graves, and Scholars. The Greeks. Storia dei Greci.
Ruri Rocks is smaller, more constrained than most of these, but its quality is up there.
Youtube is offering me crunchyroll clips of Ruri Rocks, and I wish that anime was dubbed to Spanish, because I'd love to watch it with my kid.
As I said back when it aired for the first time, that show is something else. So full of love for its subject matter. So authentic, so relatable in the depiction of a young dumbass who just wants to find pretty crystals getting more and more interested in what's behind them, in the beauty you can find in most things if you just look and learn a bit more.
One of the lost lessons of Zelda 2, a bit of wisdom we would do well to mind, is that old parents should be locked in a basement.
Calmly contemplating his life choices (third nap, or second breakfast)
Now, it is true that for people born without one, it can be hard to know what having a long penis could be like. But you can achieve a similar thing by searching for some strangers talking about some nuance of [X] and interjecting “I don’t do [X]”. Well done, champ. It’s so much bigger than mine.
:boost_requested: I cannot figure out how to diagnose my Linux hardware.
It keeps locking up, slowing to a crawl before needing to be hard powered off and rebooted. I've even tried a vTTY to kill the x server.
But when I reboot, or even during the crash, dmesg gives me *nothing*. After reboot I can find no helpful logs.
I'm used to at least getting a pile of I/O errors or a graphics mode reset or *something*. There *has* to be something in a log somewhere, right?
So pork is in the high pressure cooker, taters are airing in the fry, it all is moving.
Or not, really, they're staying right there. But, you know.
Se vienen *cositas*.
Back from the street market. Got a lot of veggies and fruit, some strawberries that look fantastic and some big cherry tomatoes that my kid almost polished off by the time we got back home. And we also got some clothes for hallowe'en customes.
The market is always dangerous: if you're not careful, you get back with more stuff than you can actually eat, and a surprisingly light wallet.
My kid is pissed because she built a miles high rising column in Pokopia, put a lot of stairs on it and is trying to build an elevator, but apparently she's reached an upper limit for something and can't really finish it.
Los mailings de mi AFP sobre lo que está pasando con los fondos son realmente penosos. Dan pena. Y vergüenza. Y bronca.
Pero bueno, votamos por que esta farra siguiera.
I also have a GoPro Hero 9 Black with a bunch of accessories that needs a new home.
Is anyone in or near Berlin looking for a rigged Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with cage, D-TAP battery, and SSD?
Any video creators out there looking for an upgrade maybe?
I'm looking to sell mine as I don't do much studio video stuff these days.
(boosts welcome)
AI agents are entering banking systems.
Banks now struggle to distinguish between human users and unauthorized AI agents.
I said this because common sense is not so common.
¡Muy buenos días, contumaces, peleonas y polémicos!
huh, okay
Finished reading Around the World in 80 Days. She was utterly taken, and I ended up reading three chapters in one sitting to avoid leaving her hanging at the very end.
This does mean that I ought to be writing enough, and with good enough quality, about tits. I don’t think it will be easy. But I am up to the task.
