does anyone know how this happens? dodgy manufacturer?

"updates held back" hat nichts mit dem support level zu tun, sondern deutet auf konflikte im package manager hin, z.b. wenn ein 3rd party repository eine abhaengigkeit hat, die ein update verhindert. das ist relative fummelig zu loesen.
