Why is Firefox spontaneously connecting to some telemetry server at mozilla.com? 🤔

It turned out that these “Privacy & Security” settings of Firefox are turned on by default:

* Allow Firefox to send technical and interaction data to Mozilla

* Allow Firefox to make personalized extension recommendations

* Allow Firefox to install and run studies

Might be a good idea to turn them off…

And that’s not the first time in my life that I’ve declared the green to be incredible 😆

I finally got to see the #aurora 😀

I can’t see the pinky/purple stuff because I’m colourblind, but the green was incredible 🤩

Edit: this is in the UK, East Midlands, just outside Loughborough
