I read recently of a foreign visitor to Auckland airport who kept hearing bizarre announcements for a passenger to make their way to the 𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯.
It took them some time to realise the kiwi announcer was asking the passenger to go to Domestic Check-in. 😂

I can no longer find the torch and Airplane mode shortcuts, because there's nothing in the pull-down menu.
I also can't turn off the phone, because the power button is now an AI voice assistant.

So ICE raided a construction site in our neighborhood and two of the workers tried to get away. They got in their truck, hit one of the ICE vehicles and drove off. The ICE officers *opened fire* on them. They abandoned their vehicle in the neighborhood to try to escape on foot. So now we’re all ordered to “shelter in place” and “stay away from windows” so the swarming gestapo can shoot up the place with a free hand.
