Anyone with a #Panasonic #heatpump?
I'll soon have 2 or 3 spare home-assistant integrating #WiFi access thingies (home-made replacement for #CZTACG1 modules)

Oh! CHCon!
Well I find it interesting anyway, further you can also load the models in map view at https://open-meteo.github.io/omaps/?domain=cmc_gem_gdps (as an example), changing through them on the right and seeing how they compare (third icon from the bottom).
Not just temp data, everything is there.
Really interesting how the different forecast models diverge and have differing thoughts for the same location - even over a short time period.
This is from https://open-meteo.com/en/docs which is free to use (non-commercially) for 10,000 API requests (!) a day. I've highlighted what it things is the "best" fit for here, you can see how the top one is very different! That's from JMA.
Different sort of Vibe Coding I guess 😅🫣
Interesting... https://github.com/bramstroker/homeassistant-powercalc
stupid camera focused on the mess in the box and not what I was holding 🤦🏼♂️
Sorry, been very chatty again today 🫣
Also, they need to have something thrown at them for exc. GST prices by default.
You are selling to *consumers* not biz.
Absolutely baffled why people go with these companies.
I checked a couple of the others, trying to get ToU where they offered or explicitly the EV plans. This isn't taking into account some pay you *less* for Solar Export if you are on an EV plan (the blue one, at least does that)...
Powershop:
Get Shifty Peak: $0.3756/kWh
Get Shifty Off Peak: $0.2538/kWh (9pm-7am)
Mercury:
Anytime $0.2910/kWh ($0.2328/kWh 9pm-7am with EV Plan)
Contact:
Peak 37.95c/kWh
Off Peak: 18.63c/kWh (9pm-7am)
Okay so Contacts EV plan is the more reasonable, out of the lot - but still more than a standard plan from Octopus (not factoring in the middle of day off-peak/shorter peaks they have and whole day off-peaks on weekend).
Least Mikrotik builds in ways to protect from idiots like me
I honestly don't know how some people think they are getting good deals from EV Plans on some retailers;
Them:
Day (7am-9pm): $0.4111 / kWh
Night (9pm-7am): $0.2055 / kWh
My non-EV Plan:
Peak (7-11am, 5pm-9pm M-F) :
$0.3396/kWh
Off-peak (11am-5pm,9pm-11pm M-F, 7am-11pm S-S):
$0.2706/kWh
Night (11pm-7am):
$0.1699/kWh
Don't get it. Do people just get sucked in by marketing?
ffs I can't even manage a simple task like updating a mikrotik device without screwing it up somehow these days
Passive PoE is a sin.
