Jun 15, 2025, 10:05 PMIt's funny how it's less hot in the afternoon than it is during the night. I think the bricks must absorb a lot of heat and release all at night or something.

Q.U.I.N.N.icedquinn@blob.catJun 15, 2025, 10:05 PM@enigmatico they do!- Q.U.I.N.N.icedquinn@blob.catJun 15, 2025, 10:07 PM@enigmatico its a funny thing the arabs lived with their standstone houses absorb heat during the day. stone is a poor thermal conductor but its non-zero, and in a hot enough environment enough heat still sneaks in that at night the stone equalizes back with the cold desert air and (poorly) conducts back out of it.
