I did manage sleeps, but it wasn't a good day. I'm not sure that things are getting better. Well, let's give tomorrow a try? I don't know.

Maybe I don't really need to get foods. Or do dishes. Because getting given the space to do so seems like it's too much to ask.

I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Thank you everyone. Take care. Oh. Finished the P.B. Shelley book (works of, though not sure it's everything, mind you not a lot of trips around the sun for him).

I've been so inactive here... I haven't done this in ages (and the instance is making it hard...) Welcome @me I guess test instance?

that's it. i'm going to facebook to offer to run an icecast server for the ham radio group

I am sometimes asked what’s with the spelling (fosa vs fossa).

Well, fosa is a native Malagasy word.

In Malagasy, the letter S always makes a S sound, never a Z sound, so a double S in unnecessary.

Foreigners, however, run the risk of mispronouncing the word as “foza” (Malagasy word for “crustacean”), so y’all get the version with the double S to prevent that.

#monsterdon I like the device of having a real insect or spider climb over a photograph of the real set.

They did it in Empire of the Ants, too.

#monsterdon "Forget about it, you have your homework to get ready for tomorrow."

Yeah, typical teenage girl, getting all emotional because her father was eaten by a giant spider.

#monsterdon This is pretty good compositing. Better than you'd expect for this movie.

#monsterdon I mean, forget pure scientific curiosity, wouldn't it be nice if we could examine it and determine if it's ever laid eggs?

Because they lay hundreds of them at a time.

#monsterdon "There's a cave with human remains"

Should have been enough to get the sheriff out here.

#monsterdon They're not even pretending there's a light source in this cave. They're not even doing the thing where a single match lights up the whole cave.

Nah, the cave is just already lit.
