Friends, knowing I like film photography, have started giving me their old cameras. This makes me want to use them, and so I took one to Berlin with me. Fair to say it sort of works. Yes the flash doesn't work and yes it light leaks a bit on REALLY bright days but over all it is a bit of a gem.

BTW these birds, very Hitman 3 Berlin. Wonder who inspired whom?

So this is a camera I found for a fiver and it was filthy. Cleaned it and yeah it is a cheap wee thing but I am beginning to see why people butcher them for their Lomo T-43 lenses. The look coupled with the beautiful film is breathtaking.

So the latest version of ON1 Photo RAW has an AI Photo restore function and well it's a thing.

For some photos it does ok, especially if it a close up portrait of a person facing the camera but for rest, oh boy.

Part of the issue is that someone in ON1 have decided the use case is the images will always involve people so it will try to insert them into things and you can't disable this function.

Image 1 is the original, image 2 is YIKES!

Having something of an issue with this old Fujica ST-605 and this Vivitar lens. I noticed the felt from the mirror stop was collapsing badly so I think light seals are shot.

But this is quite the atmospheric shot.
