Every so often I get really annoyed at my joke name when a rash of people start using it to give as their email address. Haha "maggie mcfee", yes yes very funny, and also fuck you Madison Shannahan.
I mean, it's a diminutive of my first name and I could go by something else if I wanted... But at this late stage in the game that seems highly pretentious. Or is it less pretentious when you're old? Margaret is too long and formal sounding (although I do use it at work some) and the only other diminutive I like is Margot. I absolutely detest Meg, Peg, Marge, Madge, and etc. Some people do call me Mags, but that's really just a diminutive of my diminutive.
Anyway I'm just grumbling and rambling. And deleting emails.
And yes, Jon, you can continue to call me Maggot no matter what. 😜

#Anxiety update: I’m still tasting the rainbow. I’m positively fearless. It’s not a state of euphoria. it’s just how I used to be. The old me... Plus, I’m less obsessive/compulsive. I mean I still wear the same clothes, and I still have my weird bedtime routine and bed clothes... But hey, I don’t carry my tokens any more, and I fidget less. I catch myself rocking almost never. I recognize this is all thanks to a [Jenga tower of] meds, but I’m fine with that. Happy!
anxiété rapport: je goûte encore l'arc-en-ciel. Je suis sans peur. Ce n'est pas un état d'euphorie, c'est juste comment j'étais avant. L'ancienne moi.. Et en plus, je suis moins obsédée/compulsive. Je porte toujours les mêmes fringues, J'ai toujours ma routine bizarre du coucher et mes vêtements de nuit.. Mais bon, je ne transporte pas mes jetons, et je ne gigote pas (ok... moins), ou bercer pas trop.... jamais? Je sais bien que tout ça, c'est grâce à un cocktail de médicaments, mais ça me va. Heureuse !
