Okay this sounds like I'm doing the old "all software is bad" bit.
And I'm really not, because I'm done with that bit.

I want computers to be good, and I believe they can be, and I think there are many tools that are useful or spark joy.

Software allows me to speak to some lovely weirdos that I could never speak to otherwise. Software allows me to experience art, to do my job, to look up information that helps me in my daily life.

It can be good. Making it so is a terrifyingly hard task (I've tried!), but it is possible to constantly improve.

And yeah, I want programmers to take some pride in their craft. Make something nice instead of slopping it up because you don't care about it.

So we all know about the majestic plural, right?
How a monarch will use "we" to refer to themselves?

That means they need a word to unambiguously refer to a group that they belong to, and I propose:

W'all

I'm still annoyed that "followers" is a very special group that I can give special permission to read or quote my posts and... I don't think that's the right target.

What I want is "mutuals can quote". Or, even better, "this list of people can quote". Until that's a thing I'm going to leave quotes off.
