Another truck repair done, very high idle that stayed high all the time. Made the correct diagnosis of a stuck Idle Air Control valve. Removal and replacement was trivial, two bolts and an electrical connector, located on top of the throttle body, easy to access. #smallvictories #wrenching #shadetreemechanic

Not only did they improve, but ditching gas was *better than medicine.*

Went to a concert last night. It was the Aussie band #HindleyStreetCountryClub, a band that has come to prominence primarily through Youtube. They don't play anything original, they play covers of songs from the Seventies and Eighties. All the music is forty years old, very well played and faithful to the originals. All in all, it was a good time. It was only this morning, when I woke up in bed that I realized who they were. They are our Lawrence Welk, late #boomers and early #genX.
