Would this count as a 'private placement' for funding? 😉

I don't get the argument that public institutions "have to be where people are". Why?

Pornhub has about the same amount of monthly active users as X. No one thinks our EU commissioners or the Swedish parliament must be on Pornhub.

I'm really curious what the *actual* state is of Ukraine's ballistic weapon capability. I expect we'll all find out at the same time when some prime target in Moscow or St. Petersburg becomes instant rubble but still I'm curious. The more they try to tamp down expectations the more I'm wondering if it's further along than I think. My original thinking was over the winter they would use it to knock back any efforts at staffing up a spring offensive.

It is always bittersweet when doing the process of disposing of the assets of someone who has departed. Each thing has a story, sometimes lost, of why it was acquired, what it meant, and how it enriched the person's life. Today I'm honoring someone who was a tinker and a hacker by moving their stash of 'parts' into a program to inspire high school kids to explore tech. 🕊️
