i'm committed to focusing on being present in the present moment, & also experiencing joy whenever i can. :)

oh yeah and also deleting my facebook bc i've been trying to do that since early january 2025 if you know what i mean

anyway, i started this profile partly so i could chronicle becoming a new #linux user, finally *completely* going full #degoogle (i stopped using gmail in early 2018! & maps years ago! but i still haven't deleted my accounts/data, & it occurred to me in the past few years that that's a problem, especially with the rise of LLMs making me even MORE sensitive to data harvesting & privacy issues…), & even divorcing myself from apple inc, too. & hopefully find community around these, as well.

#floss

ever since twitter died (rip 2022), i haven't really tried to find a replacement. honestly, i'm still grieving the twitter of 2015, and i realised just today that i felt ashamed that i was still grieving it, that i STILL miss it, that to this day my brain will automatically think up jokes on instinct that probably fit 140-280 characters.

"She taught me that life was too short to waste it hating the people that hated us."
i needed to hear that today.
