A good piece from FT. I have another question: are those "ARR" numbers really reliable? ARR means "Annual Recurring Revenue". However, customers don't sign long-term contracts with these companies (risk written in Anthropic IPO prospectus), and customers can easily flip models as they want to optimize values-cost ratio. Is the revenue really "recurring"?

Quite a few people calling in seem to like this execution setup. By the way, I really like this C-SPAN program during which people call in to share their opinions on topics of the day. You get an unfiltered look at what the general U.S. population are thinking (yes there's age group sampling bias). It's much better than relying on NYT and WSJ journalists telling you what people are thinking as they tend to insert their own narrative. 30 minutes well spent.

That said, the author didn't spell out the potential consequence of Treasury losing moneyness. My understanding is that "moneyness" is also a property of collaterals. I remember back in the days Uber was running negative 2-4bn FCF/yr and people were lamenting the amount of capital being burnt. Nowadays people see $280bn negative FCF and are just numbed. Perhaps it’s because market caps and public debt are just easily trillions now.
