I am not totally convinced that Toby is happy with my choice of hats 🦇 I hope he forgives me @FallsMom

Sadie has a broomstick and is very happy about it. Such excitement - ready to fly! @CuriousMagpie

#sillySpookyHatting

Lojie is feeling a little bit witchy and a little bit lazy. Taking a well earned break from making her potions. @Lojie

Monty is not a fan of wearing clothing of any kind, but can confirm witchy Monty is utterly charming @carolannie

Quick question of no importance whatsoever...

I have noticed in spooky hatting alt txt that everyone is calling sofas couches.

Is sofa a particularly UK word, or is couch a particularly American one, or is there something else that I am missing?

/idle curiosity

Boomer has decided it would be nice to coordinate with the new pumpkin house decor. Good work Boomer, very elegant.

Meet Melody.

Melody would like you to look closely at her headgear, and see what happened to the hands of the last person that tried to take her bat away @bethroots

This is Clove. I was looking for a hat for Clove when I casually wondered to myself how the mask would look & now I can't stop laughing.

Sorry Clove. Your eyes stared out so wildly I could not resist.

PREPARE THE PETS! The time of SILLY SPOOKY HATTING is upon us!

*ahem*

The lovely Czar is starting the season off with a classic star-covered spooky witches hat.

Made this days ago, & it's not quite right, but no tinkering is helping. I like it slightly too much to delete, but I'm kind of fed up trying to work out what's needed now. So aye, have it 😁

Well, I've given myself another earworm, and I *know* this is making me giggle more than it should, so I am going to take it all as a sign that I should be thinking about bedtime 😁

Sleep well all, when night reaches you :bagpussYawn: 💤

I fear there was a short period in my childhood when my hair looked a bit like this 😬

I had quite a sensible work day today. Since finishing I have put the finishing touches on a very silly parody film poster, and now I've put some googly eyes on some mushies. My evening may have peaked 😁

Posting the last FFS entry made me realise something.

Yesterday I foolishly clicked on a video of Tucker Carlson & Jacob Rees-Mogg (IKR, I don't know why either, I'd seen a few references to it & didn't engage my brain).

In it Carlson asked why Britain joined WW2 & Rees-Mogg said it was about good & evil & that if we hadn't we would be speaking German now.

That. That was his first response as to why Nazi Germany had to be stopped.

Obvs. my brain kicked in at that point & I switched it off, so maybe he redeemed himself later (HAHAHAHAHA) but I held back a rage post & went on a walk.

But it turns out that as someone in the UK, with a long lineage of ancestors in the UK, I have the perfect response to it 😁

It's Friday! Woohoo!

First Friday of October, so we thought we'd go for a more autumnal vibe. And a very simple dance, because it's late 😁

As ever have a good weekend, if you possibly can :HumphStomp:

We did a lot of chopping today which was a bit of a slog, but we did create some new views into the undergrowth, and found some wee treats.

Not the easiest to photograph mind you. There were some uncooperative branches still in the way, awkward angles, and local acquaintances passing by with cheery 'hellos' leaving me in a quandary about whether to try and explain what I was doing or not (I decided not - just went with a cheery hello).

But despite all that, very cute.

I found a grove of Z trees where the shadow hogs sleep. So that's a thing.

Also I *think* I might be tired.

Goodnight all, sleep well when night reaches you 💤
