Okay, here goes:
pinned Thread of Critters Not Staying Off My Damn Lawn.

(Mostly hasty mobile shots, and added to as time goes by and the creatures gather or I rediscover old photos.)

First up: the partridge family. Or rapphöns as they're properly called.
First time since we moved here 15 years ago that I've seen 'em, so today I guess we celebrate 🥳

Vill ni jag ska starta en tråd om kritter jag råkar på i närheten av huset?

D'ya want a thread with the critters I stumble 'pon around here?

(edited to notify anyone voting, or at least the three who boosted that the thread's now actually happening, but since the poll gets reset if you edit I had to erase it and add a screenshot of the results)

* "A server […] can get are your public profile and public posts, which are publicly accessible."
- Well, no. What it can get is anything you share with a user on that server, so any form of post whether public or only visible to the mentioned users (e.g. DM's). I know it's picky, but wording matters and "public" has a fairly established connotation for non-mastodevs.

Some hypothesizing about how #Threads will circumvent the assurances Mastodon gGmbH gives in this post: https://blog.joinmastodon.org/2023/07/what-to-know-about-threads/

Nota bene! I'm just a rando with non-impressive tech skills.Never have I ever worked as a developer.
Still. Here goes:
