Your friendly reminder that if not for Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar, today would be 1st October.

Dat was ook PRECIES twaalf uur!

Nou. We gaan ons er maar klaar voor maken. Dank allemaal voor de vele goede wensen. Ik hoop over twaalf uur gerepareerd weer thuis te zijn.

No, DeepL, "geliefd trompettervolk" does NOT translate as "dear Trump supporters". Trump supporters are in no way "dear" to me, rather, they're a most unlikable lot. I'm getting a bit fed up with that obnoxious character poisoning literally everything. 🤬

Just because.

Whenever a statement begins with the word "respectfully", you can be certain it's an utterly disrespectful statement.

Gaat goed zo met de afstemming van de beleidsplannen op de wetenschappelijke feiten. 🙄

(tagging @benroyce )

If you want to see the effect of NOT voting for the "lesser evil", look at the USA now. 🚮🚮🚮

Zo keihard gewerkt. Ik ga mezelf echt tegenkomen, weet ik wel zeker. Maar intussen hebben wij vrijdag gewoon een ludotheek.

But the purpose is clear: MAGA wants Americans to live and die like medieval peasants, including all the fears and superstitions that keep such people dependant and obedient. 21st-century feudalism, that's literally what they're after.

I was born in 1955, shortly before scientists developed a vaccine for polio. In my childhood, polio was all around us. EVERYBODY knew at least one child or adult with severe paralysis or visible deformations caused by that horrible disease, and we all feared it, even relatively small children. Once infected, no treatment is possible, none at all. But by all means compare polio vaccines to slavery, you MAGA twats. 😡

Calling Idi Amin a murderous dictator wasn't racism, although he was black.
Calling Benyamin Netanyahu a murderous authoritarian isn't antisemitism, although he is Jewish.
It's as simple as that.

Cardboard boxes full of classified information in the bathroom of a private home where a janitor has access or a casual chat on Signal about war plans with a sloppy door policy. Pretty much same energy.

Maybe @GottaLaff would give the above a boost?

Dear American friends, I know for a fact that many of you were as horrified as I was over the shameless display BLOATUS put on in the Oval Office yesterday.
I decided this morning that rather than seethe about it, I'd do something meaningful with my anger.
Below is the URL of Ukraine's official fundraising page. Maybe you could chip in a small amount, and/or give this a boost to spread the word? Thanks, and remember, there's still many more of us than of them!

Never forget.

Here's a request: please don't poke fun at Americans. Roughly half of them are heartbroken or even frightened right now. They're the ones who read you. The folk that made this a reality don't, and if they do they give zero fucks what you call them. So maybe just show some compassion.

Godverdomme, NOS. Voor de zoveelste keer:
Dat.
Stuk.
Is.
Geen.
Snelweg.
😡😡😡
