There's a new version of Univershuffle out today!

Univershuffle 1.2.2 adds support for iOS 27, including shoving nearly the entire app into an Extra Large Portrait widget, plus some polish throughout the app.

If you haven't yet lived the dream of shuffling all the music in the universe, now's a great time! That's the type of thing people say in marketing and I'm saying it here!

Albums 7.1.2 is out now! The new graph types from 7.1 are now available in listening reports, and a bunch of bugs (including some genuinely ancient ones) have been fixed!

After a week in App Review purgatory, having been rejected for "encouraging or directing users to allow the app to access the media library and Apple Music library," Albums 7.1.1 is out now!

Albums 7.0.5 is out now!

Y'all successfully bullied me into putting the "Open in Apple Music" action back at the top-level of the context menu, sparing everyone the indignity of one extra tap into the Share submenu.

Plus... bug fixes. Some stupid stuff in here that I am thrilled is no longer happening!

Albums 7.0.4 is out now! This update brings a bunch of cloud sync enhancements, other bug fixes, and some minor features.

An angry pickle, several rants, and a big slab of gratitude on this very special year-end Music App Stuff!

Albums 7.0.3 is out now!

Albums 7.0.2 is out now for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS!

This update fixes some silly regressions, addresses some longstanding issues, and does its darnedest to make things smoother and more stable on macOS Tahoe.

I wrote a bit about what's new in Albums 7.0, the process of putting together, and how it feels to finally have the Mac app out in the world after so long.

The Mac app is finally here! Albums 7.0 is out now for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. This is a “no new features” release, with all of the focus on making sure the app runs and looks great on every platform.

Between the Mac app and the dawn of the era of Liquid Glass, nearly every screen in the app (plus CarPlay!) boasts improved usability across platforms, design/layout bug fixes, and, yes, liquid-glassiness.
