Its just 22 days before Rep. Ilhan Omar faces reelection.
"The timing is notable because DOJ’s own rules caution prosecutors and agents against actions that could affect an election — or even create the perception that they are doing so."

I'm seeing commercials that talk about David Crowley raising sales taxes in Wisconsin and how "we can't afford that."
Here's what those sales taxes were raised for:
Pension Stabilization: The revenue is legally earmarked to pay down the county’s massive unfunded pension liabilities, a crisis stemming from the 2001 pension scandal that had left the county with a projected $100 million deficit.
Public Transit: It prevented drastic cuts to the Milwaukee County Transit System, which had faced a projected $26 million annual deficit and elimination of over half of its bus routes.
And the sales tax in Milwaukee is still relatively modest compared to other major Midwest cities.
City -- Combined Rate
Chicago -- 10.25%
Kansas City -- 9.98%
Memphis -- 9.75%
Minneapolis -- 9.03%
Cleveland -- 8.0%
Milwaukee -- 7.9%
Tonight's movie is The Woman in Black (2012), a gothic-style ghost story. It's set in the early 1900s and is dark and rather sad, but has good reviews as a ghost story and the music is amazing.
"A young solicitor travels to a remote village where he discovers that the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals."
Stars Daniel Radcliffe, Janet McTeer, Ciarán Hinds, Liz White, & Roger Allam.
Directed by James Watkins
Music by Marco Beltrami, who composed the music for over 160 movies and shows including Hellboy, I Robot, Snowpiercer, and Velvet Buzzsaw.

I've seen it listed as 1906, 1907, & 1908, but I think it's the first Haunted House movie ever made. It's 6 minutes long and is (obviously) silent.
Silent films generally had live music played to accompany them, but if you want a fixed medium, you have to record music over it. Someone set this up with Danse Macabre by Saint-Saëns.
I find this video entertaining and informative, and I'm impressed by the stop-motion work involved.
