it’s little friends time again!

:bunhdhappy:

hello lovely people. i’m an agender, autistic, disabled and chronically ill ceramicist with new stock of clay friends to sell and rent/bills to pay. autumn edition!

my shop is currently OPEN at https://www.driftingspirits.art with various autumnal and non-autumnal sculptures and photo prints, and it will remain open for the next fortnight or so. after that, it'll be closed again till the beginning of november while i rest, recover, and restock again. i'm still waiting for the decision on my disability claim so doing my best to keep going in the meantime.

i ship from france to a lot of places. that includes the US but not most of the EU now, sadly; please contact me for more info and/or see and rage about the EU's new PPWR legislation.

thank you for looking or buying or boosting if you can, and i wish you all a lovely day. autumn edition! 🍂

(and if you'd just like to help with rent but not get a little friend: https://ko-fi.com/moon_bun)

next shop opening in about an hour :eariz_bun_peek:

in the meantime, please allow me to introduce you to New Products! ✨

an ever-growing series of unique photo prints taken on an instax mini evo camera and printed on instax film. each one is signed, numbered (usually 1/1) and year-dated, and they'll always be a limited edition of one or two.

i'll be adding seasonal prints along with more sculptures too, and there's even sepia coming ...

instax film gives a lovely and soft retro effect, and holding an actual developed photograph in your hand is (for me anyway) a beautiful antidote to the everything-digital world we live in. i hope you love these as much as i do.

I just found out about https://fybe.art/ and it looks promising!

They apparently started it thinking it would be a marketplace for fiber artists, but shifted quickly to include all kinds of art. Looks like it's basically based in the US for now.

I love the NO AI anywhere policy.

Potato has been learning JavaScript and just put up “Potato-doro”, a free pomodoro style task and break timer that lets you set your own times for test, focus, snack, nap, etc. AND, has a cry button for when the world is just too much. Thought you might find it a useful as I do. Also cute. Check it out here https://sadpotatoclub.com

(Clarence, placeholder name:) I have a question! (Boosts welcome!) We really like playing Pokemon Go. Unfortunately, it is not designed for mostly bedbound people.

Are there other mobile games like it without the real-life exploring aspect? I'm thinking like
- no/minimal ads
- social aspects, popular/relatively easy to find actual friends to friend in-game
- no/minimal/extremely easy combat, pretty chill (I really mean this, it needs to be a rest activity, as close as possible to meditation. We can't even transfer Pokemon while resting, it's too cognitively taxing)
- cute, nice to look at
- well-made, minimal bugs
- a ton of stuff to do

I feel like Hay Day is the closest that I know of. The problem is, we don't know any other Hay Day gamers.

We also play Pokemon Sleep, but that's more of a "check it every few hours" game, and we have a significant sleep disorder, which the game doesn't like 😅

Edit: we have enough engagement to go ahead with this.🥳

Would you be interested in participating in a spoonie convalescent retreat for 4-6weeks over the winter at a camp or meditation retreat in southern Ontario.
Just looking for general interest/support to see if it is worth pursuing. Made it multiple choice.
Brain of dump additional thoughts below.

How did you get your #gender?

(Clarence, placeholder name:) Spoon tracking spreadsheet posting again. Why in the world did going to the kitchen to get food cost that many emotional spoons??

Maybe because it's upsetting to have to push through harmfully to eat, because we don't have enough care (nothing on Sundays)? That's my best guess

of course you have headmates and pronouns

I started this winter-themed cardigan last fall, intending to finish it for Yule. I got all the pieces done, and then stalled at the sewing-it-together bit.
I really, really hate weaving in ends, I will literally put it off for a year, lol!

What’s your typical (or preferred) way of working through a project? Go with the answer that resonates with you the most even if you sometimes do other things.

Comment with - why do you like working that way? When or why do you make exceptions?

Hey everybody, I broke my leg skating and my fibia has cracked at two points. The doctor said I have to get surgery to plate the sections straight so they heal. On top of this I sleep outside on a sidewalk, and am not able to work, thus to compete with surgeries I need to find a way inside and to eat. I've been homeless for a year, I'm on ||opiates|| for the pain, it's two fractures on my fibula, and I will never walk correctly again. I am being under treated, and they refused to provide a respite bed as is appropriate for this wound

I haven't done a #3wordCheckIn for a while.
How's everybody doing, in 3 words?

For those of you who can't even.... Three emojis would work too.
