It would be cool if organizations gathered money to support their communities (not seeing investors or executives as the community) and if there were petitions to oppose fascism (and not support mass surveillance).
Or if neither of these would seem needed.
Thinking of The Little Prince, the thing about adults recognizing the beauty of houses in their numerical resale value, and considering spreadsheet-like video games to be adult games.
Now I see the recent reviews of Victoria III, a 12+ game.
Browsing sites to learn the sizing of certain kinds of sex toys, getting distracted by photos of silicone paws.
I had a playlist of exactly the duration I needed for my chores, including the long break for reading fedi.
Thinking that maybe not only there are cool people and creatures I can meet only online, but maybe I'm like them.
I need the legibility of text, the scrollback and the context of online communication. The time to think before or after replying.
I think the argument that copyright is needed "to promote the progress of science and useful arts" has been completely debunked. People will make science and art on their own, unless they are too oppressed to have the space for that.
Same with inventions and collections of facts. Legal restrictions and temporary monopolies are not needed for people to make and publish these.
Abolishing copyright, database rights and patents would harm the companies and owners responsible for a part of this oppression.
It would be cool if video artists promoting products described what products they use on their videos.
I'm happy with a label maker of a brand I've seen a well-known presenter use in a video with an affiliate marketing link to a different brand.
I'm safe from buying some coffee equipment shown on a video about that as I can't find its brand name, only a very generic term for the kind of tool it is.
I currently have a job, but I'd switch to one better matching my skills and preferred location.
I have over ten years of professional experience in Web development using Python (with all the technologies around that), and several years of Rust programming.
My general requirements are no AI and no Microsoft, with the only languages I can professionally use being English and Polish. Posting here, I can consider only public offers that are likely for someone else to apply to.
I'm an EU citizen and I'm looking either for a position supporting immigration into the Netherlands or one fully remote within the EU.
Thinking of cats with black and orange fur, I wonder if Scar Lion King would have tortitude, or if I'd be specifically more afraid of him in any lion-petting scenario.
I'll check if I can play a horror game, as Maid of Sker has a story mode without enemies. (Also there is an action game in the same setting.)
Jump scares and hostile monsters in games with a defenseless protagonist are not for me. (That while I enjoy zombie movies and books.)
The game also has impressively illegible startup text design, considering its dark mode, high contrast font, and my astigmatism.
"You acknowledge that [the service provider] uses a third-party PP."
I've recently played The Prank series of furry visual novels (everything in 1, parts of 2), and I like it.
It's short and has animated sex scenes, probably not usually played for the plot, but there is the fun in discovering all the scenes.
One specific thing I highly dislike about it is the image of a dildo with no flared base, the experienced character having it should've known better. Otherwise recommendable.
Some time ago I've read Nudist Mouse, a very queer webcomic about finding friends and love in changing life circumstances. (While the main character is a naturist, there is also sexual nudity.)
I found this via the music of the author.
Seen the music video, that's a lot.
I thought of the use of a projector for background images being a cool movie-making technique, and not just a usual office activity.
I like their new song as a message, while I'm not sure I want to be more reminded that there are furries and queers who would do what the narrator does non-ironically. (More than by reading posts about them here.)

I just watched a video essay about an album by Pent Up Pup, so now I know what non-furry music this references and see some more furry music recommendations.
I needed over a year to notice that the "selfcest orgy" of the cover art involves something sexual.
A big intersection is so hot here due to all the concrete and no shade, and there is a big billboard advertising a glass apartment building (the first one?).
As if it wasn't hot enough and landlords wanted to put people into greenhouses.
We could have had grass, trees and dirt in public places if the concrete wasn't subsidized.
I wonder if I should watch the ninth episode today, so I could read a lot of posts here (and have some rest), or watch it over several days while exercise biking (getting more exercise).
Media have reminded me of the existence of professional substitute teachers in English-speaking countries.
I haven't ever attended a class with such here, they would've been helpful.
Experimenting with 120% display scaling so I can keep my 1440p screen too far away.
Text looks blurry, but maybe I can distinguish emojis now and notice characters in pfps.
