github have broken org-mode markup. Of course, github is an awful site now. But if you wish to make noise about this, these would seem to be the places:

Mutton chilli!
"Mark Zuckerberg said Meta’s new personal AI agent Muse has become the “centerpiece” (sic) of his AI vision..."
okay, I can stop reading, whatever this thing is is doomed. If only Mark could monetise his ability to kill things he thinks are the future.

"Obsidian—the studio behind games like Fallout: New Vegas, Avowed, and The Outer Worlds—will now become part of Bethesda. "
This is why we can't have nice things:

RIP

A bit sad that even @arstechnica follow the practice of putting an unrelated video in the middle of the text of an article. It's no wonder nobody has an attention span any more.
At least I can still read properly in elfeed!
For some while my ability to play records has been somewhat theoretical, with my turntable plugged into my PC for easy ripping, but not playing. Now fixed and I have the exquisite pleasure of: rain outside, record on loud, read a book.
And yes, getting it to work did somehow involve a Games Workshop carry case, what of it?
Wow hacker news is borderline unreadable nowadays, it's JUST LLM wall to wall. And not even in an interesting way.
@lobsters it is I guess. Now if only I could get an account!
Amount of times that dabbrev-expand can be more useful than an LLM is extremely high. But #emacs doesn't have a frothy speculation bubble.
Not that I share all of @pluralistic 's rosy post bubble projections, but his #AI book sure is a breath of fresh sense, and a good antidote to the LLM mania echo chamber.
Pot.. Kettle...
#terrarium update:
Or certainly the corner I live in!
In this crazy time, thanks #fediverse for being so (comparatively) nice and sane.
The more I use Debian for servers the more I wonder why I ever used Ubuntu for my servers. Debian is so much more chill, stable, and stays out of your way.
I think the ironic headline of the year contest might already be over:
"Trump appoints Blair, Kushner and Rubio to Gaza ‘board of peace’"
Satisfying as actually getting an #emacs keyboard macro for a repetitive task correct.. And then just being able to hammer e repeatedly and see it all unfold.
Well worth it for all the times you mess it up enough that it would have been quicker to do it all manually :D
@gamingonlinux Don't suppose you got a code for EU5? Very interested to find out if it runs okay in Linux!
Today on starling-el, support for savings accounts / spaces. And should work for multiple accounts generally now I think.
