Graces: Posthumous Wish is a great horror mystery Visual Novel by the maker of Lighthouse of Guiding Flames. Both games have flown under the radar, but feature intriguing stories and beautiful artwork.

I’m really glad I didn’t stick with this. Navigating the Tarzan world seems super awful. But it’s fine watching someone else do it and edit out some of the repetition and backtracking.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre- these characters are immediately a lot more engaging than Friday the 13th
I finally found a YouTube playlist I like to watch the Kingdom Hearts series since it’s a lot better to watch than it is to play. At least for the first game. This is like 300 parts long.
Well, that is an unfortunately truncated item of loot.
Unless the "..." means "no further comment"🤪
Who could have done this…
Trying another new VN for spooky month
I watched Friday the 13th for the first time. I didn't really like it that much, the characters were so painfully uninteresting that it was hard to care what happened to them. But I was expecting Jason in a hockey mask and I enjoyed the twist, although it's only a twist for someone like me who hasn't seen the movie but is still semi-familiar with Jason as a horror icon.

Finally cleared that, there were some neat cutscenes and the boss was fun.
Neverness 1.4- Blackbird, these are your two character traits
Maybe we should give the Sinistrals a chance, could things be any worse?
I keep thinking back on how she had post menopausal bleeding a year or two prior to the cancer diagnosis.
She went to the ER and later saw a gynecologist who did some tests- I forget what they were called-
but I keep wondering if she or the doctor was more aggressive about follow ups and additional testing if things could have gone differently.
Maybe I could have talked her into it but we were happy to take “everything seems fine” as an answer.
Finished Siren’s Call Second Wind. Not quite as good as the first game but still super surreal and interesting and I’m really glad I backed it. The dev is so cool, helped with a bug, showed me a scene I missed due to the bug and helped with an achievement question (same on the first game)
Played some Animal Crossing and did my Neverness dailies. Gonna try to wrap up the 1.4 MSQ for that this weekend- this story gives me so much anxiety, ready for something lighter when Akane’s banner hits.
It was cool to see my name in a game’s credits as backer- especially since there weren’t that many backers- like some games have 100 pages of them, this has two.
Time to get festive.

Me, with many other serious concerns I should be thinking about: I can’t wait to water my pumpkin crop in Animal Crossing so I can start making Halloween decorations soon.
I worked on Neverness 1.4 some more but the story is really dark and gives me anxiety so I only do a little at a time. I’ll be glad when we get to the lighter side quest with The Whoots coming soon.
Finally getting to play Siren's Call: Second Wind, the game I kickstarted. The sequel to Escape Velocity, and it's really good. Currently only available on Jast unless you were a backer, with Steam version coming later- Steam really made the release difficult, tagging it with sexual content that doesn't exist.
Strongly recommend these games for Visual Novel mystery enjoyers. Super surreal and dream like.
