Husband took this one with his new camera - so crisp! So adorable!

Sleep perchance to blep.

I recently discovered that Bertram really likes chasing hose water and didn't mind getting wet at all! He's such a funny little pup.

More Bertie ❤️

This little guy is such a little sweetheart and so adorable, when he's not biting my hands and ankles. Puppies!

Bertie and Teddy are becoming friends.

We brought Bertram home this morning and he's just been the best little guy.

I took Teddy to the beach, we had a nice time. I was reminded what a pain my electric car is on a long drive. I spent 45 minutes searching for a functional charger and then I'll be stuck here for 45 minutes while it charges.

But ocean!

I've been so sad since we lost our little corgi on May 31. Missing him and his funny antics and his cuddles. He was such a sweet and good boy.

I started checking dog rescues and shelters a few weeks ago to see if maybe I could find a new friend who might fill a bit of the void left by Hammy. I found this little guy, and visited and paid for his adoption on Friday. He can't come home with us for a few more weeks and I can't wait. We just need to name him - poll to come.

Sometimes it's easy to forget this doofus is not a baby anymore. He's still so silly.

These adorable little guys. ❤️

Much needed nature bath (and literal bath) today. Teddy had a great time too

I made a blanket for my friend and she sent me this picture of it on her lap while she's reading - but her dogs are the real stars.

Since that time I’ve been with men and with women, and though I eventually married a man, it could’ve gone the other way easily if I had found another bold, cool, pretty, charismatic woman to steal my shy heart. Sometimes it feels like I’m not part of the LBGTQ plus community because I married a man and because I pass as straight. But there’s a tiny kernel of that homophobia my parents pushed on me, that makes me feel shame for my desires.

I was 18 when I first hooked up with a girl. Again when I was drunk and again with a different girl who was bold and cool and pretty and charismatic. And I was still shy. It was an amazing eye-opening and beautiful experience. I didn’t feel shame, only liberation.

I’ll never forget the girl who made me realize that I liked girls. I was 15 and she showed up unannounced at my front door with a backpack filled with beer. She was so pretty and cool and bold and charismatic and I was so shy. After two beers each she had me laying on my stomach with my shirt off while she gave me a back massage. I’ll never forget the look on my brother’s face when he walked in to that scene. He was a good brother and I knew he wouldn’t tell my parents.

I finally actually fertilized my flowers this year and I have to admit it’s worth the effort. I’m such a lazy gardener. My lovely mother law gave me these dahlias a few years ago and these are the best blooms I’ve gotten from them yet!

We said goodbye today and he took a piece of my heart with him. Oh my God I miss him so much. My little boy.
