I’m a slow poster, but nice turnout at the #Indianapolis #NoKings protest yesterday!

Bleppy #Caturday everyone!

Sound on if you can. #caturday

Lucy says have a restful #Caturday

Also, an instagram friend of my wife posted this and it sums up my braver thoughts at the moment:

Donated to Harris. Fun to see this momentum and I want to add my little bit to it. I hope Biden stepped down because of what he knows about his health and not just because of MAGA smear bullshit, but regardless, it increases my already huge respect to for him so much. He’s done a lot of great things under difficult circumstances, and in any normal times he’d have earned a victory lap, but this isn’t normal times and he knows it’s not about him. He’s a good human being.

It’s a nice cat case, but the tail compartment is much longer than it needs to be. Poor design, SMH. #Caturday

#HoosierMast Well, this is embarrassing: I asked for recommendations for #Solar panel installers in Indianapolis a couple of months back, and someone replied and gave me two suggestions, which I didn’t write down because they were on my mastodon feed, and now that reply has disappeared. Don’t know what happened, but I’ll just be annoying and ask again, anyone have good experiences with any solar installers around here?

I love to travel, but Indiana really is gorgeous sometimes. These are from Sugar Creek between Shades SP and Turkey Run. As beautiful a day on the water as I’ve had anywhere. #HoosierMast

OMG my little one year old lead plant (Amorpha canescens) is flowering and it’s SO PRETTY! I love this plant. Probably not strictly native to my county, which was never prairie; but native to my state. #NativePlants #Bloomscrolling

Wishing a very happy 34 Felonies Day to all who celebrate! You might be thinking I’m a day late, but actually, this holiday begins at 5:30 in the evening and goes until the following evening, kind of like Shabbat.

Ren wishes you a totally chillaxed #Caturday.

Also, all of our clean underwear is currently being held hostage under his daybed. Send help.

Met this young lady in Marrott Park yesterday. She was a little nervous about meeting a man in the woods, but there are no local bears to compare me to. She seemed to feel that twenty feet was an acceptable margin of safety.

#Caturday puzzle: Can you figure out what this is?

Indiana woods in summer are beautiful to be in but hard to photograph well, at least for photo Philistines like me. It’s all variations of green, and moving light and shadow. Still some water leaf and Solomon‘s plume blooming at Marrott Park in #Indianapolis, but the flower kersplosion of last month is mostly done and things are looking summery. #HoosierMast

Should have mentioned I’m in Indianapolis.

Hey, #HoosierMast, I’d like to get some solar panels installed on my roof, and I’m intimidated because I know there’s a lot of scammy companies out there. Anyone have any advice, on installers or literally anything else #solar?

Good day for a walk in Marrott Park in #indianapolis! Clockwise from top left, purple phacelia, Celandine poppy, more purple phacelia, and a prairie trillium. #bloomscrolling #NativePlants #HoosierMast
