This highlights one of the big problems with LLMs for code generation.
If a thing has been done often enough that there are are loads of examples of it for an LLM to train on, you probably shouldn't be doing it again. You should be using some abstraction over the thing and not copying and pasting it.
If a thing is rare enough that it has been done a handful of times in the training set, there's a good chance that the LLM output will meet the legal definition of a derived work, you may be accidentally violating a license / infringing copyright.
If a thing is so rare that there are no examples in the training set, the LLM will probably produce something that looks right. There is even a chance that it is right. Good luck.

@zzt looking at the design I wonder how they are going to deal with condensation fogging up the camera lens on warm/high humidity/rainy days or working out with them. And yes, bone conduction would be better option. Actually, I hope they do have problems with fogging.

@lilithsaintcrow Here's an idea for an enterprising bookseller: ship the books for scanning and shredding to Amazon, but *first dip the pages in nitrogen triiodide solution*. Ship them moist, so they'll have time to dry before scanning. Which will, oops, make scanner go bang.
If you like living dangerously, nitrate the wood pulp in the paper first. Nitrocellulose is fun, at a safe distance.

Claude Code (bear with me) has all these dumb little gewgaws & animations & "sorta slick, sorta annoying" TUI behaviors – none of this shit is germane to its use case.
However! The overall effect seems precisely like the AV presentation of casino games - their barrage of flashing lights, noises, and music. It tickles your lizard hindbrain, a constant pitter-patter of dopamine hits.
Those are literally designed to be attention-grabbing, focus-keeping & habit-forming, by (evil) psychologists. One imagines the same is true with chatbot UIs.
