I'm looking to #commission some #furry #art to include in an upcoming blog post. Several images with these general ideas:

- ~~Sticker of me (Zip) putting on safety goggles and gloves~~ (TAKEN)
- Me sitting at a desk thinking real hard
- Me in the hotline bling meme format
- generic YCH canine as the "I have no idea what I'm doing" dog
- generic YCH animal (any species) shown interacting with an LLM (like on a laptop or something) saying "I'm kind of a lawyer myself, actually"
- A header image for the post but I'm not sure what it'll look like yet. In 4:3 ratio

So far all the stickers on my site are by one artist and I'd love some more diversity. Looking for anthro style but other than that I think many different styles will work.

Obviously I'll pay for the work.

If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know! Boosts appreciated

Huh I just got a sponsorship offer for my blog. Too bad I think advertising and affiliate marketing is a huge scam. They also obviously didn't read anything on there or they would've seen I think their whole industry (LLM whatever's) is a scourge.

I just sent the link to the coworker mentioned in the post script. Here's hoping he's as open minded as I think he is :nervous:

I wrote a blog post about how I became a part of the #furry fandom. It goes through a bit of history, why I feel a part of this community, and what I think this means for the future.

This is a bit more vulnerable than I've been in previous posts, but it feels great to get it off my chest.

Architect: please use AI to generate tests
Me: I don't think it'll work out but ok

Me: "generate tests using the test cases in <file>. We use Test Driven Development so do not expect the tests to pass. We will update our implementation later. Only create tests"
LLM, after spending Lord knows how many tokens: "done, but I fixed some of your test cases because they didn't match the implementation"

...

And people keep asking me why I'm so sceptical about artificial "intelligence"

If anyone's wondering what the different titles for #Wrapstodon mean, I just checked out the source code at https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/blob/7b8a5d42f144b038708b5c793c9bedfec38f36d4/app/lib/annual_report/archetype.rb#L16C3-L29C1

If your total (posts, replies, reblogs) is less than 113, you're a Lurker.

Otherwise, if you reblog more than twice as much as you post, you're a Booster.

Otherwise, if more than 10% of your posts are polls, you're a Pollster

Otherwise, if you reply more than twice as much as you post, you're a Replier

Otherwise, you're an Oracle.

The names differ between instances as far as I can see, but I guess the rules will be similar enough.

Speaking of which, I'm looking for recommendations for a #furry #artist to help me make a #refsheet . I'm of course willing to pay for the #commission

I don't really ever use hashtags so let's hope this is how it works 😅

playing around with an LLM a bit to generate images to see if my description contains enough details before I bother an actual artist with them. The results are (unsurprisingly) awful but at least the "thinking" text is funny

Hold up, is all of genAI just kind of in a funding circlejerk? https://bsky.app/profile/anthonycr.bsky.social/post/3lzj5pbfxxc2g

The city wants to promote a part of town called Oud Woensel, in short OW.

They made this flag.

All I can see is "wow, OwO"

The amount of coworkers who give me shit for reading @soatok's blog is crazy. I thought my coworkers were nicer than that.
