Balancing the checkbook in 2026, what a time to be alive.

It's kind of like a flow state... but instead of being 'wired in' I'm 'scaled out' constantly balancing the cognitive load.

The amount of context switching for working this way is insane. I can't tell if my MTV/Twitter addled brain is optimized for it, or just more vulnerable to it. Either way keeping all the plates spinning is anxiety producing.

I kind of sort of maybe ...feel like stealing a name from Pratchett vs. Tolkien is a pretty good leading indicator of the overall vibes around a given project/library/service/etc.

Really enjoying all the new changes in #ampcode If you're orbin' with @astro sites, be sure to set `server.AllowedHosts` to `true` so the portal previews work. Astro dev server only allows localhost by default.
