lmfao @ the plan9 literate programming slopware documentation project.

thought it was strange to begin with for being the fancy of the retrocomputer guys, but this was one step further in being shit. Albeit there are few operating systems for good use in learning about operating systems(uxv6, oberon, minix),the strange decision borne of fascination in retrocomputing is overshadowed by literally documentating a kernel with claude and commenting out your questions to claude in the same noweb doc

guardian is doing a "if you want to reject advertising cookies, you need to pass"; why does this feel illegal

how can i take this seriously when they have claude shite in their codebase https://bytecodealliance.org/articles/security-and-correctness-in-wasmtime

language in which the only way to do inheritance is via abstract base classes/interfaces/mixins

i despise all hyperscalers.

what do you mean you cannot, with your millions worth of machines, load a fucking webpage to set a resourcegroup for a replicated server.
what the FUCK are you DOING that is taking 5 MINUTES in ANNO DOMINI 2026

(this is probably actually explained in the emily papers but reading tjem on the phone is hard)

using annotated pascal comments to beat the xml liker allegations

if you were to make a ocap system ontop of osvm, one would have to 1) cut out all the code that references shit like nextObject, instVarNamed:/instVarAt: 2) rework the compiler to only allow pragma primitive in code given the authority to do so 3) rework compiler and runtime to be mirror based (this would fuck a lot of code) 4) (**handwaves: rework the compiler *).

building one from scratch via making a new compiler and using like cuis-bootstrap seems less annoying.

so wth is it about ocaml exceptions thats doubleplusungoodambauth

wiki.erights.org search is brokie
https://skyhunter.com/marcs/ewalnut.html

it exists and is public

apparently exceptions are banned in emily. i am unsure how some systems think excs are doubleplusungoodambauth and others have them. but part of this might have just been never investigating too deep into some of these systems. fwiw Newspeak mightn't have user derivable exceptions

i like jazz

```
for i in *.flac; do
ffmpeg -i "$i" mp3/"${i/.flac/.mp3}";
done
```
god i love shell automation

why are there so many people drinking the AI koolaid

need a fucking tab garbage collector holy fuck

at my desk at any given time there is a scrap of paper with inane ramblings/proclamations. like i have "i despise aws" written 8 times

this is just to see if it could format correctly

f(x) = { abs(x), x <= 2 |
| ln(x), x >= 2 }
