There is a scathing one star review of The Gilded Age season 4 premier on The Guardian and I just wish I could ask this person what TV show they thought they were watching.

'Cause I'm watching a thin, soapy drama about rich people written by a rich old Tory who is enamored with capitalism. This was never going to be quality television and I think it's kinda silly to expect it to be something other than entertaining trash.

No one is 4 seasons deep into this and expecting *quality*.
