Much of the new work in Garema Place is very attractive. However I am concerned about the placement of several rocks on the open pavement area, not contained in a garden. Do they constitute a trip hazard, especially anyone who is visually impaired?

Posting this pic again. One of the artists was there today, taking photos. He asked me what I think of them; I love them. Both of us quietly delighted to see a First Nations presence in the heart of the city.

As I alighted from bus, I saw an old friend just about to catch a different bus. I called out her name and she looked at me, but no one would have identified me today with all the multiple layers of clothing, hat, scarf across face. Came home, thinking I’ll look up her address, phone number, in the white pages. Dear reader, the white pages no longer have residential information. Who knew? Yes, probably all of you.

My GP’s has just put up their prices. Standard appointment, $115. Long appointment $205. Things like Chronic Conditions Management Plan or Mental Health Care Plan, $250. Sheesh! I have reached the Safety Net, so I can manage, but really! How do people afford this, especially families? I can understand the search for bulk billed care - or going to Emergency. 🙄 😬😳

Hmm. Physio says Plantar fasciitis. But googling reputable sources, it doesn’t look like that. Whatever, it’s painful! Commencing course of treatment.

Getting ready for physio appointment. My options were 7.30, 8 or 8.30am. Took 8.30, of course. I’m a morning person, but really! Who goes to an appointment at 7:30?

I have developed a bad habit; apparently I switch off the CPAP machine in the night, and I’m not aware of it. Last night it looks as if my CPAP use was minimal to none. No wonder I just took an hour and a half nap! I need someone to stand by my bedside all night and ring a bell, or maybe tap me lightly with a hammer, when I switch it off. 😳😬🔔

Have been going to a new dentist since the practice changed hands. Not sure about new person. I’m going back today, I think this is the make or break visit. Considering changing. Have been given a recommendation for a place in Manuka, however it’s a house and nowhere for me to shelter afterwards while waiting for transport home. I know. I have weird considerations.
Any recommendations for good dentists, preferably in Canberra’s Inner North?

As I was slightly early for the appointment, and as the day is gorgeous, I waited outside.

At dentists, new this year. As previously, the screen in treatment room had news, sport. I asked for something, anything, different. They asked for music suggestions. Anything Motown? They found it (with me giving correct spelling). Really kept me distracted during treatment! ❤️💃
