So today I got accused of destroying the #HomeAssistant community because of my contributions to the Home Assistant community? 🤨

But I admire how polite the response is that someone gave. I had to restrain myself not to reply. I don't know if I could have managed to answer without using the F-word.

You know all these cheap unbranded LED string lights, led controllers, lamps and bulbs you can buy e.g. on AliExpress that come with generic IR remotes? I've been working on an integration to easily support these in #HomeAssistant with an infrared proxy. The LED Infrared integration will land in the next release. Currently only 2 remotes are supported but I hope to add more. Contributions are welcome ^^

I just discovered a project called Koffan. It's a self-hosted shopping list that can synchronize between different devices. Although it is pretty new, it looks like a promising alternative to the Bring! app that I'm currently using.

I'm thinking ofaybe developing a #HomeAssistant integration

Found them. No idea why I threw them into that fucking paint bucket

Put a new lock on our compartment in the basement and instantly lost the key. I know, that is just my ADD but, damn is that annoying!

Apparently, there is at least one person running #HomeAssistant on an IBM s390x mainframe computer. I've received a bugfix PR for the pynecil library used for the IronOS integration.

Hab mich ausgesperrt 😩

Hab wieder 2 #HomeAssistant Benachrichtigungen gamifiziert ^^
Natürlich auch mit entsprechendem To-Do Listen Eintrag in #Habitica

Hab unsere Türklingel in #HomeAssistant integriert 😁

Can you all do me a favor and check in the network settings of your #PlayStation devices what the MAC address prefixes are (first 6 digits)? Everything from PS3/PS Vita upwards helps. It will be used in #HomeAssistant for discovering devices in your network and set up the PlayStation Network integration. Please help by sharing.

I also developed a Python library for the Pinecil that is used in the integration but can also be used separately https://github.com/tr4nt0r/pynecil/
