Did not go to Renfair and now have regrets.

I'm not going to say too much about Transgender Day of Visibility because it's tiring. So-called allies come out of the woodwork on this one day when we need your help all year round, especially in countries where they want to un-alive us (such as the USA and the UK, to name two in a long list). If you're not actively fighting for trans people then you're not fighting for humanity. No discussion.

On Monday my support worker & I went on hikes across the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung people. We ventured to Vaughan and Harcourt & amongst the day we stopped at the Specimen Gully Gold Memorial in Barkers Creek. This stone hut a remnant of the early gold era here in Victoria.

I have been diagnosed with Costochondritis so I had to cut the day short due to being in pain but enjoyed being in nature. I believe nature is tonic for the soul, so please make time to "touch grass" whenever you can.

Walked 45mins to the gp. Got my testosterone jab. Walked 45mins back. Now I rest.

I have dancing neck. But it was fun at the time.

Just had my annual visit to my endocrinologist. It's not good. Due to my testosterone my blood is too thick still which can lead to clots. Everything else to do with my levels are perfect. He suggested drinking more water might fix it until I told him that I drink 3L a day already. Then he asked if I'm eligible to donate blood every three months, I am not since I'm in a male male relationship. So the third option is to apply testogel to my shoulders every day. This is problematic for me because I am hopeless with introducing new routines to my carefully balanced schedule. Le sigh. I'm a bit devastated. I could go to a clinic that will take blood for $200, but I cannot afford that. So testogel it is. 😭

Just had a rollicking good time at the Q-Lit Festival.

First up was a comedy-infused panel unpacking the impact of the success of RuPaul’s Drag Race against the queer stories being told (exploring whether Drag Race overshadows deeper, more diverse queer narratives, or if it’s just the beginning), hosted by Steph Crothers, with Lazy Susan and Patrick Lenton.

Then "Gag Reflex" comedy from Scout Boxall, Matt Barron, Maddy Weeks, Robyn Renolds, Neptune Henriksen, and Shyaire.

They all made it incredibly difficult to do my job and take images as I was laughing so hard.

Last night of the festival is tomorrow!
