#regel17 #rule17 natuurlijk

A friend writes exam questions for students consisting of one correct and three plausible-but-incorrect answers ...

... and uses AI to generate the WRONG answers ...

... and thus has to REJECT inadvertently-correct answers ...

... and teaches AI the wrong things.

Unfortunately it's a closed-off private instance of an AI that likely won't feed into the public one. Still, useful trick to remember.

One day I'll write a page 'Frequently Questioned Answers'.

Deep thought of the day.

The quick release cycles and frequent updates of modern software come across as the software being mostly interested in itself, and not in the user.

Dear user, you want to do X? Hold on for a few minutes while I, King Software, do Y! My desires trump yours! And the convenience of my developers trumps yours as well.

It's maybe equivalent to the 'DX' that the big frameworks create. Here, too, devs are mostly interested in themselves, and not in the user.

@natbat We have to have cross-Atlantic pair programming.

The US dev checks the PWA on iOS, the EU dev checks the site on Chrome/iOS and Firefox/iOS.

TFW you're looking for information and the best thing you can find is your own article from six years ago that you already know doesn't answer the question.
