I am on my phone posting this. Can someone reply, please? I am wanting to see if the notification comes through. Thanks much!

Attention all blind or visually impaired Mastodonians: I’m attaching a time sensitive poll in the which I would greatly appreciate your participation. Rest assured that should you do so, none of your identifying information will be disclosed. The purpose of this poll is for data gathering only. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Please feel free to boost for a further reach.

What good is freedom of speech if we don’t have freedom of choice? I was trying to look at my Twitter feed because I have some people I correspond with over there who, at least as far as I know, are not on mastodon. Why they haven’t yet made the trip, I have no clue. But be that as it may, any time I try to respond to a tweet or even direct message someone, I get griped at because I’m using a third-party app, Spring, to be specific. So, in short, I have freedom of speech, so long as I use a certain app to express myself. Does anyone else find this oxymoronic?

Anyone else planning to steer clear of news/politics tomorrow? Thinking that's my best course of action at this point, as I'd rather just do me, be happy, and focus on the things that bring me joy.

If you think that January 4 should be observed as a holiday, in honor of Louis Braille's birthday, please boost.

Good afternoon, MastoFam. I hope you're all enjoying this marvelous Monday. I know I am. I had an appointment, and twas nice to get out of the apartment, even if only to go to the local hospital. The fresh air always does wonders for my soul.

"Happy Wife, Happy Life" is destroying many marriages... it should be "Happy Spouse, Happy House" because a good marriage consists of TWO Happy People ...

So excited for tomorrow! @TRodick93 and I officially have a ride to a Christmas eve service, which means we get to attend in person. It’s been a couple years since we’ve been able to do so, so I’m super excited to restart that tradition. Merry Christmas, Mastodon! May we all remember the reason for the season all year round.

Happy Caturday, Mastodon! I hope you're all having a great day and that you've resolved to do at least one thing for yourself ,no matter how "small or insignificant."

I rarely ask for help out here. That being said, my Solstice boy (cat) had to endure a two-night stay at the vet because his stomach was giving him issues. I was concerned that he may have swallowed something, as he literally was keeping nothing down, but it turned out he was just full of crap, literally. 🤣 However, the bill came to almost $800; so any help toward it would be most appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your generosity. Please only CashApp me if you are financially able/can afford to do so. Boosts are just as valuable as money and are also greatly appreciated. ✨ CashApp: $proudmom816

Happy Caturday, Mastodon! I'm living my best life, sitting here with my beloved @TRodick93 while Solstice rests comfortably on my shoulder and Sunshine sleeps peacefully on the sofa across the room. My cup overfloweth. I pray all of you can say the same. 🥰

119 days till the first day of Christmas!!!

And this school day is done! Such a productive Monday; I'm beyond pleased. Now, to have a little fun! Spending the rest of this evening with my @TRodick93, @musical0916, @Zman, and @sweetstephanie, Lord willing. Fun times. Enjoy what remains of this marvelous day, everyone!

Wanting to wish my @TRodick93 a very happy birthday. Praying your year ahead is full of nothing but good health and happiness. Happy 31, Darlin'. Proud to be forever young with you!

The tongue has no bones. But it is strong enough to break a heart. So be careful with your words. --Unknown

Just celebrated @TRodick93's birthday several days early by going to Texas Roadhouse. Happy birthday, my'love. I'm proud to be forever young with you. Never forget that.

So grateful to @TRodick93 for his assistance with my computer a few minutes ago. :) I'm now a very happy girl, now that I can use the synthesized voice of my preference. :)

Morning, all, and happy Sunday! I'm in bed with @TRodick93 while he sleeps, and since I'm wide awake, decided to get some schoolwork done. I'm planning to worship sometime today, too, and play some online games and hang out with my framily. So today's promising to be a sensational one. My goals are to finish this IRAC assignment for contracts and to try to make someone smile at least once today.

Are any Voicedream users noticing focus issues with the latest update, or is it just me?

Happy Friday, Mastodon! This is the day that the Lord has made. I am so grateful to be awake and to be feeling pretty much like myself again, after having battled covid for the past week and a half or so. I'm thankful that the Lord let me survive it.
